Le Kandahar didn’t arrive in La Rosière by chance….

Marc pirard, a former member of the French Ski Team and national coach for over 10 years with the World Cup team, Corine Pirard, his wife, a local girl from Montvalezan a former competition racer have designed and built “Les Chalets du Kandahar” in 2005.

They have baptized their chalets to the honor of the SKI.

LE KANDAHAR, A MYTHICAL SKI RACE

The Alpberg Kandahar successively takes place in St Anton ( Austria), Garmisch- Partenkirchen(Germany) and since 1948 , at Chamonix Mt Blanc. These 3 internationally remounted ski areas organize in turn, one of the most beautiful
competitions of the world cup circuit – the mens World Cup.

History is the proof. His novel approach in rulemaking with the creation of the combined , the winners still only being counted on the fingers of one hand, and the chosen resorts imposing the legend of the Alpgerg Kandahar.
